Chris Williams – Managing Director

Williams has over 20 years experience founding, managing, and selling technology companies. He’s expert in evaluating technology product concepts and markets and has an established success record in assembling founding teams, attaining financing and delivering award-winning products to market. He has founded and backed several Internet startups, most recently Nexaweb Technologies, where he raised financing and served as interim CEO.

Previously, he founded Valent Software, served as CTO, hired the CEO and raised seed funding. When Lycos acquired Valent, Williams served as the acquiring entity’s chief architect. Earlier, he secured private financing for Waypoint Software, which he co-founded four months before it was acquired by Open Market for $12.2 million.

Williams also co-founded Purart Inc., where he was vice president of research and development. Purart designed and developed numerous products including Borland’s legendary, award-winning Turbo Debugger. He also founded Machine Evolution Corp., a data communication hardware and software manufacturer.
