Kirk Bloede - Director
Bloede has over 20 years' experience as an investment banker, commercial banker,
business development executive, and venture investor. He has extensive experience with the full
spectrum of corporate finance, including mergers, acquisitions and valuations, and has worked
on transactions ranging in size from multi-billion dollar infrastructure projects to seed stage
venture backed equipment financings.
For the past five years, he has consulted with a number of development stage enterprise and specialty
software companies in the broadband internetworking and video compression area and has assisted them
in raising capital and forming strategic relationships with larger partners, such as Cisco Systems
and Sun Microsystems.
Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President at Silicon Valley Bank where he was a core team member in forming its investment banking division.
Prior to Silicon Valley Bank, Bloede was a Vice President at Lighthouse Capital Partners where he sourced and structured
venture leasing transactions for early stage venture-backed companies. Representative clients included
Foundry Networks,
Critical Path,
Redback Networks, and
Symyx. Bloede also worked
in the Corporate Finance Department of Smith Barney in New York, and in Project Finance for Bank of
America in San Francisco.
Bloede is a member of the Board of Directors for the Hiller Aviation Institute and Museum, a non-profit organization located in San Carlos, CA.
