Robert Hoffer – Managing Director

Hoffer brings 20 years in entrepreneurship,technology marketing, operations and strategic business development to the team. His experience includes success in such diverse fields as online directory publishing and instant messaging where he holds a patent used in two years by more than 12 million people.

Hoffer was a co-founder in several successful internet companies including Infospace Corp., Commtouch and Digital Post Office, which became Critical Path. Earlier he was general manager for Database America Corp., now infoUSA Inc., where he was responsible for CD ROM Publishing and developed the first Web-based national Yellow and White Pages, which was licensed and co-branded with Yahoo, Nynex, American Express, Excite@Home, Lycos and others.

He has consulted myriad companies on technology projects including Apple Computer, Xerox, Inc., PepsiCo, Playboy, Citibank and Lipton. He has developed a broad skill set and practical approach to problem solving.
